Magazine blunders

Yesterday I was going through some magazines – online and in print – for work (PR), and in just a few pages found 2 typos… I know they have a lot to put out there, but they employ copy readers for this very purpose! Buy Generic Cialis Online It just surprises me as I’d get told off for a lot less!

Tesco Typo

Here’s a beautiful example of an apostrophe-misuse that will have been on display outside every Tesco store in the land on New Year’s Eve!

“You’re local Express Store will be open as normal” – with the incorrect use of an apostrophe making this banner actually read “You are local Express Store…”!

I’m amazed that this one slipped through the net! And that the store went ahead and used the banner – as surely it must have been detected at some stage before it was distributed around the Cialis country, mustn’t it?!

Emo Cleaning Services

Many thanks to Ben who sent this little joy over – he says: Generic Cialis Online “I’m amused at this flyer which offers “moping” services and “general cleaning of rooms”. So the modern emo teenager, when sent to their room to clean it, can not only outsource the cleaning but the associated moping!”

Personally, I always think it’s a novel marketing strategy to call your business ‘A1 etc’….

And let’s not overlook the ‘On Very Reasonable Prices’ statement!
