Fruit with missing vowel

On a supermarket wall in Midland, Western Australia, they advertise fruit with missing vowels. Are they on special for this, or is it the usual rate? I’m hoping Nectarines without the requisite E taste great? Don’t fear - that is not an aposotrophe at the top of the blackboard, it’s the photograph that is cropped, and it’s the lower part of another letter.

Good idea for a blog. And useful, I need it! (I blame my bad spelling and grammar on having half my education here, and half in Europe, and just being lazy, I never proof read posts….)

My friend lent me the book ‘Eats, shoots and leaves’ recently, good stuff. Though recently (I think) I’ve been having more trouble with too and to, and some other things.

Anyway, if you notice any bad spelling and grammar in my posts (if you read them!), then please alert me by comment or email!!!
